Water pump housing 3.8

Hi Folks

Is this a County brand pump I just removed from my original 1962 3.8. I have told the bypass spouts never looked like that ( the wall thickness ) on a genuine pump and genuine pumps where quite clean castings.

That's correct, my original 3.8 pump didn't have the 'flanges' at the end of the outlets. The outlets were also a much thinner casting. The problem fitting the county pump has given me is that the outlet is now perilously close to the steering UJ.
