Looks rather a nice car at a reasonable estimate too.

A few things are a bit worrying though..... no heritage certificate and the car's data plate is not original ("Texaco" should be "Tex aco"). Difficult to determine therefore whether it will be numbers matching or not. Also, the amount of rust under the bonnet is worrying given it has supposedly been in a carcoon. How much of that rot is elsewhere out of sight.

Non-original steering wheel is a shame too.
Personally I don't understand why people change out the dataplate for a shiny new one. It was the one badly corroded item I put back, untouched, on my restoration...

if you get the conditions wrong and use a carcoon it can be a nightmare (don't ask!) I suspect the car is hanging in rust due to condensation from the storage. if you zoom in on the wire wheels that confirms it for me. the under bonnet shot also shows lots of surface rust.

The note about where the car came from and who 'restored' it is all I'd need to know before walking swiftly away.

I'd just like to point out, my comment is based on personal experience, not hear-say.
