Are 640h15-dunlop -rs5 tyres still available for early S1 Etypes?
or are any equivalent tyres available?

Crossply tyres
#2 Re: Crossply tyres
No unfortunately as Dunlop ceased production about three years ago. The said they would return after the machinery was moved to Portugal but the skills required have been lost. The Dunlop R tyres are available but are not legal for road use.
Dougal at Longstone Tyres may be able to offer more information but his view is crossplies are not really suitable for use under modern driving conditions.
