Hi All
I am coming to the end of my rebuild and i have two bullet ended cables at the front of the car that I dont know where to terminate, please help. Image attached.

Hi,
Are you 100% sure they are both just black? In that area of the loom, there is the cooling fan/relay section which have black, as well as black/green wires. The black/green is easily mistaken for black.

On my 3.8 the fan relay sits on the rh side (view from drivers seat) under the header tank bracket. On the lh side there is the brake light switch (although spade connectors) . I think the 4.2 has the horns somewhere down there, but again spade connectors.

I have just checked and one is green/black and one is solid black but my fan relay is other other side??

Sorry, I meant the cooling fan wires that go back to the relay. My 63 3.8 has the relay on the right as well, but the green/black goes across to the left where it goes to the fan. The wiring diagram shows it better...

I have just checked my Coventry auto components diagram and my Prospero’s garage poster
Both suggest it’s the earth and relay supply to the cooling fan motor bullets...as Richard states

There's a separate 2 wire loom that provides power to the fan and attaches there.
