Hi gents,
I came across this cad replication aerosol coating by Eastwood and thought I’d give it a try on my front suspension components. I’ve heard that Eastwood is a high quality product. Any experiences?
Cheers,
Pete

I Bought and used some of their Alluma Blast Aerosol for an aluminium alternator. It's very similar as the Hammerite brand which I also had on the shelf and compared.
However, I found as long as you let their coating thoroughly dry for a few weeks to cure the coating becomes durable.
And a year later the alternator still looks good with its coating.
This photo below is The Before Coating with Eastwood Alluma Blast...

Thanks Clive, good to get a positive. I’ll give my parts a good curing time before re-bushing and refitting
Cheers

I have painted quite a few of my suspension parts. I follow up with a good coat of clear engine paint that tolerates fuel and temperature.
