#1 Cylinder head: where to paint?

Hi gents,
Despite a good search I’m yet to find consistency (or photos of the same head on all sides) to confirm exactly where paint should be on my 3.8 head. Is the recess below the engine breather painted? Exactly where on the sides and back are painted? Any correct photos or info would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Pete

Thanks Andrew, I’ve seen them painted below the breather and also above the exhaust manifolds - ie all the rough cast areas. Mine was done like that but also unsure if correct.

I guess, instead of being a lazy sod, I should’ve referred to my Drs. Haddock & Mueller bible...

I reckon it depends whether Mavis or Dulcie at the factory did the painting. Mavis was a lazy cow...
As for the bit under the breather. Merkin?

Dulcie must’ve painted the one in my first pic - merkin and all!
I’ll leave the merkin off mine - it looks better bald.
