My apologies if this has been covered before but I have not been able to ascertain the answer from the archives.
I have a Series 1.5 LHD FHC that i have converted to RHD. What I want to do is reverse the direction of the wipers so that they park pointing to the right of the car as seen from behind (ie to the new driver's side) and therefore sweep first left, then right.
I have the 3 wire DL3A motor and the 3 wiper rack.
I really cannot for the life of me work out how to do this by moving the wiper motor carrier plate.

Hi Andrew,
You are correct - the subject has been covered before but with the size the forum has become, there is little surprise you couldn't find it, especially as the info is in .pdf form (hence not included in the search tool at the top of the page).
Try this link:

For the wiper conversion and, on this page, amongst other things, there is a whole series of detailed and accurate articles on conversion, all part of the E-type club monthly magazine:
http://etypeuk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1664
Scroll down to the section titled "Mike Cassidy's LHD to RHD conversion guides" and there are several links to follow.
Hope this helps,
Regards,

Well done - the reversible nature of the plate was probably a requirement of William Lyons - never one to allow the development and production of more than one component for different markets if he could get away with it!
Regards, glad to have hepled out a little,
