Sound damping in early e types

Has anyone any ideas on where to get as original sound damping material as used inside series one doors etc? It was applied before paint is some sort of black tarry stuff in panels with dimples all over it at about 1" gaps.

I got mine from Brown Brothers. They come as a box of 10 or 20 sheets, I can't remember which, and are not cheap

Seams to be very similar to the original.
