Has anyone been as daft as I feel taking my wiper arms apart, a/ because they are the 1961 originals and b/ because they are irreplaceable, to get the zinc pivots rechromed? Problem is where would you source the 1/8" stainless rivets to reassemble them, and then how would you actually do it without causing damage? Maybe someone figured a work around? Thanks for your help!

There’s a place in the U.S. that sells every rivet imaginable...www.hansonrivet.com

Good luck!

Hi Paul,

I have a similar problem. I thought of actually remaking them.

If you do not find them, we might team up :-).

Let me know,
