Removing chromering luggage compartement opener

Hello,

I would like to remove the chromering which is covering the boot lid unlock chrome lever. Have a look at the photo. How do I proceed so as not to damage anything? Thank you for your help.

Hi John.....lift the lever and you will see a tiny screw...remove it.......the outer ring is then loose.....you will have to fiddle with it with the lever raised to get it out......it only comes out one way and goes back in the same so note how it comes off....Steve
