Can someone tell me where these spacers should go. On a series 1 2+2.
Cheers

First three could be distance pieces to hold washer bottle away from bulkhead BD18957/1
Second three could be distance pieces on bolt securing cowl to radiator (you only need two) C15712
Third could be distance pieces under forward end of radiator tie bars BD25765
Fourth could be eccentric sleeve on accelerator fulcrum lever C23915
Second and third could be the other way around!

Could the large ones be from underneath the rear end of the front seat runners?

On a 3.8 yes but the later 4.2 seats did not use them

As it’s a 2+2 I understood they were for 2nd row foot clearance. Every little helps! I did away with mine as I preferred the extra headroom in the front.

I can’t say for sure but the bulkhead stand-off idea sounds likely for three. The radiator cowl sounds likely too but I thought under the mushroom front seat bobbins had spacers too. If it’s a LHD car there were spacers in the bottle shield to save crushing the asbestos.
The only thing I can say with 100% certainty is there’s no d in Messerschmitt, but you’re the microcar expert, not me.

It may not be related, but there are two “distance pieces”, part number C 24424, between the Alternator Bracket and Water Pump. They look a bit like the two as the third set.
As seen on my spare engine :-
