Dear All,
I always have some oil below the Oil Breather Pipe after each drive. I just wanted to know if it was normal, or is it when the one has slightly too much oil in the engine.

Paul,
At the lowest part of the breather you should have a very small hole to allow oil to and crud to drain out - it seems to be working so all is fine.

#3 Me too
I also have this small pool of oil under the crankcase vent flex alu hose.
When the car is out, and you walk about in the garage it?s messy, and needs to be cleaned up.
Did the S2 have en enclosed system?
On my S-type, there is a tube back to the air filter house, just befor the intake manifold.

The 4.2 cars have vacuum assisted extraction of oil fumes which are recirculated into the manifold for this very reason.
