Hi why is Hardura floor kit needed on an S1 fhc when carpets are going in, with some sound deadening material underneath. ?

The hardura is not for floors, but for the underside of the dash panels etc

As well as under the dash, there is a ‘floor kit’ in hardura that is used under the seats, on the outer kick panels and the ‘parcel shelf’ behind the seats.

Ah yes, Richard, I'd forgotten about those
