The best 3.8 replica radiator?

Hello,

The original Marston radiator was already exchanged with a 4.2 unit in the early sixties. After cleaning the cooling system, I would like to install a radiator that comes very close to the original. There are replacemetns from Fosseway, Radtec etc. Which of these replicas looks most like the original from Marston?

Coincidentally my Radtec version turned up on the doorstep today to replace the current colander. I’m not sure which is the most faithful copy but the Radtec one is a fair bit cheaper.

They are both very similar to the original (except they don't leak!) so go with whoever offers the best deal. You will need a Marston decal for full original look but for ultimate cooling you probably need a Coolcat motor and multi blade fan. Paint two of the blades silver to mimick the original - even concours judges fail to spot the hack! Full history of the Marston here: viewtopic.php?p=35414#p35414

I bought a Radtec…..very well made and considerably better value than the Fosseway one…perhaps Fosseway is more accurate…but given they are both replicas, it’s mute point about spending 1/3 more…as Fosseay is not a totally 100% visually accurate reproduction

I got a rad tech they will powder coat the sides and top and leave the core plain …I believe this I’m is more like the original finish

Thank you all for your thoughts. Actually all three replicas make a nice impression. It is a pity that a real reproduction of the Marston radiator has not been managed. If anyone still has a Marston in good, unmodified condition and would like to sell it, I would appreciate a tip.

IMO-
For a show car maybe, on and off the stage.
For a car driven on the road it is inferior technology both in dependability and performance and prone to failure.
Especially an orig that is somehow still flowing without leaking.
I have a nice one that came with the car but it's on the wall for display and to go with other orig parts when or if I ever sell it.
