Okay the 5 speed is on the way!!!!
I use a lightened flywheel for the last 20 plus years
Anyone use a softer clutch diaphragm?
Or hydrolic throw out bearing
Anything so it feels like a more modern smooth set up?
I’m old….
The original by todays standards are a bit tough
Just throwing it out there
I need to use their clutch plate but maybe a different pressure plate or throw out bearing?
Thanks in advance

You can't use "a lighter clutch plate" - it'd lose grip, overheat and fall apart in short order. What you do is change the mechanical advantage of the hydraulic system so the same amount of force is applied using a longer throw of the pedal. This means you either use a smaller diameter master or a larger diameter slave. The clutch bite point moves further down, so this can only work if the current bite point is not near the end of the pedal travel.
Check the archves.

I can’t say yet till it’s in and working.
That was my promise
It won’t take long
Between shipping and the garage about 4 weeks or so.
