#1 A pillar dimensions

Post by TGN » Sun Sep 18, 2022 11:59 am

Does someone have access to measure the inner width of the A pillar.

I can’t tell which bit on my car is incorrect or been bodged, I’ve got about 34mm but it’s insufficient to attach the channel for the rubber.

Hi Trevor, I don't understand your problem. The seal retainer mounts on a lip on the outside of the A-pillar butting against the rear edge of the A-pillar, so a picture of the outside would help. The width of the A-pillar looks about correct, I've just checked mine it's about 40mm near the top with all the inside & outside trim on, & it widens to about 50mm nearer the bottom. The main question I would have is if the ouside lip where the retainer mounts is wide enough. From memory the retainer is only about 10mm wide.

Thanks Randall but I just need a couple of exact measurements from anyone without any trim in place
