#1 Hood adjusting

Post by PierreW » Sun Nov 19, 2023 4:10 pm

I'm speaking to the big names in hood tuning. I am attaching some photos of the right part of my hood that I am considering adjusting correctly but I don't know how to do it. I add that it is very hard to lock. How and where to start? Thanks for your expertise

Pierre, is this a new bonnet or was it like this when you bought the car? (Hood is the American word, bonnet is English).
If you bought the car with it like that you should have asked the seller to fix it before paying.
Here is a recent topic about adjusting the bonnet

And searching for “bonnet” will give you lots of results, then search those results for “alignment” or “adjustment” to see how others have gone about this work.

It's because it wasn't aligned at all that I was able to negotiate the price down. I'll look for the right words. Thanks for the links :-)
