#1 S1 toggle switches

Post by dlgis » Sun Oct 09, 2022 10:20 am

Hi, an important technical question here  I’ve had to replace 3 non working switches and I’d like to swap over the plastic covers from the old to new switches to keep them all looking the same. Is this possible and is there a technique? I’ve tried pulling them off but they aren’t going anywhere so rather than risk breaking them i thought it’s better to ask if there’s a special procedure :scratchheadyellow:

Thanks Steve, I’ll give them the hair dryer treatment and yank harder to see if that works

Thanks chaps, a hair dryer and an additional shredded wheat did the trick
