Thank you for the video.
Interesting to see the ways water can take to perform the inside out corrosion in the body.
One question: how does the specialised shop ensure that all traces of acid inside the hollow areas are fully removed/neutralised?

Hi,
you newd to make sure tobhave at least 2 holes in eaxh cave.
The shell itself is mounted to a rotation frame which will aid to flush the acid out.
Finally it will all be cleaned with a high pressure water and protected with a kind of oil/grease layer which is what you see on the body.

So a lot of care (by a good workshop) has to be taken. Otherwise it could become a recipe for (hidden) bad surprises in the future...
