#1 Side door/window rubber holding mouldings

Post by No Quarter » Tue Jan 31, 2023 1:51 pm

Bought a new kit like this, and while I'm getting used to that parts need customizing to fit, these don't fit at all. If these were the only in the world, I could spend 2-3 days cutting and adjusting and alter, and glue in the rest, but I'd rather not. Has anybody bought and installed such a kit, one that fit well, and if so, from what vendor?

Thanks

Mikael, have you contacted COH Baines? https://coh-baines.co.uk/search?q=Jaguar+E+Type

They may supply some of the other companies but you get better prices with them and seals that aren’t cut to a length so you can adjust to fit. They gave me very good service and products for my S2 FHC.

Sorry, this has solved itself, the vendor now tells me they made a mistake and sent kit for 2+2

It's a lot easier just to glue the rubber directly to the body.
