Hi, I am wondering if I am missing a Horn Push Spring here.
Or, do the very early 1961 series 1 horn push just rely on the Spring (16880) as item 14 in the parts manual to hold the horn push off of activating?

Hi Clive,
I'm pretty sure all S1 cars are the same with a spring in place at top. See link here for a clear picture:

Yes, you most definitely need a spring and sometimes to ensure the horn push is correctly pushed back into the housing to provide movement forward on depressing the horn push, a supplementary spacer - such as a small nut is used on top of the contact pin assembly.

Dave

Okay, thank's guys. So its a spring on the long rod - and no spring in between the horn push button and its housing.
