Hi all
On a Series 1 3.8 I would like to know where the wire that supplies the reversing light comes from - I did not find any color wire corresponding to the electrical diagram.

There should be a green/brown wire that runs from one side of the switch (on the gearbox) to the reversing lamp. The other side of the switch should have a green wire that connects to a dual bullet connector as per the diagram and eventually goes to fuse 7.
Have you found the green/brown wire at the lamp end?

I'm sorry but I forgot to mention that I'm looking for WHERE the end of the wire that powers the reverse light is normally in the trunk. Which side to look for right / left ? I haven't found anything so far (cut?) When I bought the car it was not equipped with a reversing light (forgot? lazy? or he thought it was prettier without? which is kinda true :-))

Can be either of the side looms; some Autosparks looms have them on both sides.

my harness from Martin Robey has it on both sides.
