Would anyone be so kind to point me in the right direction regarding wiring up the brake bottles ?

I have had a home-made and perfectly adequate set-up for almost 20 years but I was never sure how it was meant to be, and as I have a new Autosparks harness I'd like to get it closer to an original appearance.

Image

The new loom has a sub-loom, for this section, seen above, which is quite wrong, and Autosparks say they are aware of this from several observations they've received - to their credit they're making up one specially for me.

However, it will be to my spec as I don't think they're sure what it should look like, themselves ........

Image

This is how I drew it for them, using their visuals and references.

It will definitely work, and be long enough, but I'm not sure where - exactly - this wiring would be meant to go through the bulkhead.

Image

I suspect the hole seen underneath the bottle-mounting brackets was one that I made at some point, rather than an original one, yet the much larger hole close to the throttle-pivot brace looks a long way away.

I can't see anything in factory Fit that would conclusively answer this question, as the cars - in the initial sections at least - are a all LHD.

All and any pictures/advice much welcomed.

Good man, Angus, have you got a shell where you could confirm the size ?

I'm sure mine won't take any of the original grommets.
