Hello Forum, I just finished all mechanical work on my roadster and now I need to start thinking about paint. The interior is very nice and all original so I have decided to keep it. It is beige so I think a color that would look very nice is BRG or a dark shade of green. Can anybody help me find the correct color code (modern) in RM or Glasurit that would match a correct shade of BRG..? any web pages or references would be great.

Pablo, the knowledge base is your friend. In there you’ll find a section for paint codes. When you find one of the old BRG references there then a modern paint company will be able to match it.

Often modern paint codes don't produce exact matches to the original colours. If you have some of the original colour you maybe able to match it using a colour spectrometer which some car paint suppliers use. Even this may not be exact as it will only match to the nearest colour on the database. You may have to do some spray outs and alter the colour by eye until it matches exactly

Thank you very much Ash, I haven’t found a BRG e type near. I have a good friend that owns a BRG lynx D type that a has a lighter shade of what I think was the later S1 cars. There is an MG that has a darker shade that looks very nice and I might use it to match it.
