#1 Headlight Sugar Scoops correct color?

Post by pafagt » Sat Oct 12, 2024 9:57 pm

Hello forum, I need help with the correct color code or reference to paint the headlight sugar scoops. I’ve heard that perhaps the Rustoleum Hammered in silver could be a good choice for finish but perhaps a bit lighter than the original ?

Thanks for your advice and comments.!!

Hi Pablo, the jury is still out on this, here’s just one or two articles that discuss it and some options but not a true paint code unfortunately. Not hammered finish though;

My best guess would be Metallichrome Aluminium - ICI: P0-2358 which Jaguar specified on the Competition wire wheels and the "stoved aluminium" finish on the painted standard fitment wire wheels. It was not a true hammer finish, just normal paint badly applied!
