One of the to-do jobs is fitting the "C" channels to the doors and Qtr lights.

I have a new set of channels from sng but I must admit the bend diagram they used to form these rails is way out around the door frame. To get the top radius of the A pillar to fit, the curvature is way out at the lower waist height bend and vis-versa. Is it fair to assume that you'd normally cut these in 2 bits to get the fit.

Qtr lights were challenging but fitted.

Unless you're pedantic about originality the c-channels are invisible when the seals are fitted. I simply glued the seals on my fhc directly to the body. I wasn't prepared to pay the crazy prices plus shipping to my part of the world. The lower a & b posts & sill channel seals are just glued in anyway.
The next fun item is getting that radius to fit on the chrome gutter trim.

I had the same problem….solution was heat…….once malleable I could gently form them to the correct shape….after which I primed and top coated before riveting to the body…

Slow..annoying …but just the usual scenario of poor quality repro parts from the usual suppliers….

Don’t give up….just because suppliers can’t perform isn’t a reason to lower the quality…

Ps….dont ask me about the utterly crap chrome trims for the gutter profile….also from the usual suppliers….
