Having inherited my car with new floors already installed, should the hole on the right circled with chalk be drilled through or is it a spot weld that needs filling. The hole on the left is one of the fixing points for the engine subframe. The RHS hole looks blanked off because the new floor lips over it.
If it should remain, what's it used for.
Any input would be appreciated
