My series 1 etype 1966 is finally on the road after a full rebuild but the steering is extremely heavy so it really needs a thorough geometry check. I have a booking at the Surrey Jag Centre but its not until September. I was wondering if there is anyone that can be trusted in West Sussex, East Sussex that knows how to setup etypes correctly.
many thanks

Thanks for the response Steve. Perhaps I will have another try. I will look back over articles in the forum.
Many thanks

When you say the steering is really heavy, can you elaborate? When standing still? At parking lot speeds? At normal road speeds? All of the above? (which would be unusual) What tires and tire pressures are you running? Are the wheels standard or wider?
