Mikael, great, always good to reach a milestone.
Now you need to choose a proper colour, after all the E Type wasn’t built by Henry Ford!!

A friend of mine had a factory supplied Black one and it looked gorgeous, the chrome looked fantastic with the Black background. It got much admiration every where we went. My very dark Blue Series 2 FHC looks Black at certain angles and is well cool too.

Thanks for opening up the "which color questions". It will be a while, but I'm more in doubt here than ever. On my first project, the original color was black, and I hate black cars, so I knew I had to do different, and chose Opalescent Dark Blue, simply because I liked it

And I'm happy with that, not original but gorgeous IMO.

So to this project. I know I will (have to) put it up for sale when I've driven it a summer or two. Original color was Opalescent Maroon, just about the only color I hate more than black (apologies to any owners out there).

So I'm thinking about three type of colors, based on the fact that it will go for sale:
Original: Opalescent Maroon with black hood
My favorite: Probably a gray/silver opalescent with black hood
My guess at an easiest-to-sell: Red with white hood

Your view?

OSG is very beautiful and looks good even when not perfectly clean
Good luck with your choice
