#1 FOLDING LUGGAGE BOARD HINGE?

Hi all,

I am looking a little way ahead, but will when I get around to tackling the interior of my car need the hinges for the Folding boot board on my 1965 FHC.

SNGB list them (BD24400SS) but they seem to be awfully expensive for what is really just a hinge? I have done a quick search on here and it didn’t really come up with anything, and I’ve searched quickly on the web but of course there are over 400 pages relating to hinges….

I just wondered if anyone has managed in the past to come across a suitable replacement?

Thanks in advance, Steve.

Could you elaborate on the SNG discount for club membership? I have had an account with them for years and am unaware of such an automatic discount process. I've just gone through my account details and can't seem to find a place that shows my status in this regard, or any way to change it. Doing some online searching it appears one needs to provide membership details when placing each order?

Hi Steve....I dont know how their discount system works...years ago I gave them my car club info and opened an account.....if I just select an item without actually logging in then its in my basket at a certain price....if I then actually log in then the item price in the basket is reduced....you would need to contact them to discuss....Steve..ps note the retail price changed below

Steve, here in the UK SNGB recognise two or three clubs and I always tend to phone for parts as it can be useful getting up to date info on availability of certain parts. They have my club memberships on record and the discount is automatically applied. Tends to be 5% on most items.
