#1 COC document or similar, please educate me...

Short version:
To fund my second E-Type project (64 OTS) I have to sell my first project (63 FHC). I'm in DK, so within EU. My potential buyer is in Italy. And he wants a documents that I haven't heard about before on cars this old. I don't know if he's right or wrong or his advisors are right or wrong.
He loves the car, price is fine, but he says he can only buy if I provide COC document. I don't have such a document, and that was not a problem at Danish registration (originally it's from OHIO USA). I had the impression COC was "invented" in the 90s, and cousin Google says the factories are only obliged to show up to 10 years old.

I searched a bit here in this forum before asking, only found this: "After a bit more hunting and a couple of phone calls I have the definitive answer....not needed for cars over 10 years old. ....Phew!", but that's in UK (before Brexit), not Italy

So, is there any way to get a COC-like document for my 1963 car, from Jaguar or ???

Or, are there any Italians in here that can tell me, and my buyer perhaps, that's it's not relevant on a car from 63 (already approved for registration in another EU country)?

Ideas?

Mikael, the only reference I can find for COC is for NEW cars. Certainly that’s all that’s shown on the UK Government website. Nothing showing for old or second hand / previously owned cars.
Why not ask your potential buyer why he feels this is needed for a 60 year old car, is there any details for it being needed in Italy?

Hope this helps
