#1 SU CARB REMOVAL

Hi ,I would like to remove the carb nearest the bulk head I have removed 3 nuts,but I am struggleing with the bottom left ,I have bent a spanner and found all the lower nuts I can get to loose.are spanners available to remove carbs .I hope I dont need to remove the inlet manifold. Thanks for your help Gordon.

Hi Gordon......Recently removed the carbs on my S2 2+2 & struggled with the nut nearest the bulkhead..but eventually managed after trying all my spanners.....I then could not remove the carb from its studs, although it was loose...on inspection the rear studs were protruding longer than the others, so had to cut off 1/4 inch to swing the catb off......just keep at it, it is a tight fit good luck.
