#1 Dave Rawle tacho board

Post by tim wood » Tue Jun 14, 2011 6:18 pm

Thought I would let you know i fitted one of these boards at the weekend. Simple to do and the instructions are fine.

one thing I did do was to download all of the wav files onto an MP3 player and then set up a playlist to run through them all for as long as I wished. This meant I was able to see all of the readings in sucession without re-running the files and also exercised the meter.

thanks Dave - great product

regards to all

Tim

David Rowle is a very helpful and sympathetic fellow. I currently use his very well designed board which I recommend without any limitation (well, not above 5500 rpm!). I finally have an accurate reading on my rev counter and you would be surprised how inaccurate the original reading can be (could be as much as 20%, not to mention the potential risk for the engine health). Have a look at: http://davesetype.co.uk/etype16.htm Thanks David!
