#1 Rear end re-build

Post by drichards » Mon Jul 11, 2011 9:35 am

I bought a boot floor assembly for my series 1 (part number BD15188). However when stripping off the old sections it appears a piece has been welded in to form a stiffener between the top of the number plate and the rear tonneau panel. The piece is crudely a "square" U shaped piece of metal approx the length of the rear number plate panel. In looking at both SC and Barratts websites I can see a replacement for the FHC but not the OTS. Advice welcome!

You could try Hutsons, they make some panels that SNG etc dont sell as do Martin Robey of course.

Thanks Chris, spoke with Andy at Hutsons and he was excellent and got the business from me!
