Tool kit roll for a 3.8

Apologies if this has been covered before but I wondered if anyone has an opinion who sells the best, most accurate reproduction tool rolls

Are they always in vinyl, or did Jaguar ever offer them in leather, and were they always black

My car (March 63) has no kit at all, so I am starting from scratch

Rolls were black vinyl and are available from SNG or you might find a complete original one on eBay (~ ?600). A cheaper option may be to buy the repro vinyl roll and start collecting individual tools off eBay.

I'll talk to SNG then, the picture on their web site of the tool bag doesn't look quite like the original ones in the pictures on these two links, no buckle on the left hand side of the roll, but having just also seen one by Aldridge on eBay, which looks much more accurate I'll speak with them too
