I now have a refurbished wiper motor which needed a new winding and it is back in place and working at two speeds...
However it doesnt home when the power is removed and I cant work out how it is supposed to be wired.
The wires are on the switch correctly (at least according to the original wiring diagram) and I know that the motor needs to reverse on power off in order to home...
Any clues as to what i might be missing please?
Cheers

Chris : it may well be that either you have not got a proper connection to the brass rubbing contact - accessed through the let down instrument panel and which IIRC should be fed by a red/green wire on one side with the other side going to earth - or that the adjuster needs adjustment. This is the knurled knob which protrudes through the front of the bulkhead just below and more or less in line with the exhaust camshaft and heater outlet valve . The manual advises to turn the knob only one or two serrations at a time and test the effect before making a further adjustment
