#1 Is there a chrome bit on this piece of trim?

Chaps,

I wonder if one of you helpful people wouldnt mind popping into their garage and looking at their FHC for me... Preferably someone with a 3.8...

In the picture below I am test fitting the trim before its put into place and it *looks* to me that the end of the (not sure what its called) top piece of trim might have a chrome finisher at the front (or it might not).

As any kind of finisher cant be mounted AFTER i fit this piece of trim - I would like to know if I have to go searching for a piece of chrome.

A picture of the missing item(s) would be fantastic!!! :)

thanks all

Yes,IIRC there should be a half moon shaped chrome finisher which sits vertically on the front of the roll, and corresponds to the shape of the roll. A tongue to secure it to the back of the roll slides into that gap which you can see in your photo

Yes indeed and it disguises the end of that chrome strip too

Darn...

Can someone take a photo please?

I will need to rumage about in a load of boxes of old bits now :( because i am pretty sure I havnt re-chromed anything like that.

Using my photo as the reference - is it a sort of D shape when looking at the vinyl trim end on...

Another hold up

Aha! and Damn....

Aha : thanks for the picture, at least i know what I am looking for now....

Damn: I have no idea where those pieces are :(

I also see that there is a another piece of trim I am missing - the wrap-around-the-edge-strip just below the chrome...

Ho Hum...

Thanks all
