Wiring for XJ6 overdrive

Hi All
I've just got an XJ6 overdrive box from Pete Crespin but ,as all his stuff is packed fro his USA adventure, he could not help on the wiring.Does anyone have the wiring diagram or knowledge.The configuration is so that the overdrive is kicked out if reverse is engaged.

Simon : there are two inhibiting circuits on Jaguars, one via the reverse light switch on top of the gearbox cover, and the second to prevent engagement in anything except top gear . This makes the wiring quite complicated , and it tends to differ from model to model . However, typically, the reverse lamp switch is fed by a green wire from a suitable fuse ( you will have to decide which for yourself since an E never had overdrive ) . The other side of the reverse switch goes as a green wire to the top gear switch . The other top gear terminal takes a yellow wire to the OD switch itself , then the switch feeds the solenoid via a yellow/purple wire . These wires need to be heavy enough to carry the 15 amp or so current which is needed to engage the solenoid . Although this is supposed only to be transient, the hold-in current then falling to about 1 amp , the wiring needs to be able to withstand a fault such as the solenoid sticking and demanding continuous 15 amps
