Hi,
I?m from middle-europe (Austria). I?m restoring an E-Type S1, 2+2 from 1966 that I imported from the US. The interior of the car is in bad condition. The Jaguar Heritage-Trust procution certificate says that the car was built with "light tan" interior. But there are no colour codes to find, also the JDHC in coventry doesn?t have any detailed colour codes.
In my car there are light green whool carpets, I can?t imagine that this was the right combination.
Where can I find the correct colour code for the interior trim incl. the leather-colour and the carpet colour? Or does someone have a picture of the correct original colours?
A further problem is to find the correct lifting-jack for this car. The original car jack should have a fixed handle and the lifting plate should have a gap for the specific jacking-point of the 2+2 cars. I can?t find a jack like that. Does maybe anyone have such a part, the condition is not important, I would refurbish it myself.
Thanks in advance for any information
Regards, Gerhard

The 1968-1986 XJ jack works with the 2+2 jacking points but not with the SWB square pads. The Series XJ jacking points use the same stud-type locator as the 2+2. XJ jacks are far cheaper than E-type jacks so it should be easy and cheap to get one. If you cannot find one let me know.
