#1 Petrol Tanks FHC series 1

I am thinking of buying a new fuel tank for my FHC restoration but was told to think of a product made by Norman Motors which is galvanised. I was wondering whether anyone had bought one of these, what they thought of them and whether they had been able to get paint to stick to them?

Get yourself a nice alloy one and forget about the paint....

Andrew.
I bought a tank from Norman Motors for my series 2 and the outside very well painted black, inside you can see the plating.
It looks to be a good product.

I just bought one of the Norman Motors petrol tanks, and it looks really good. Have not tried it yet, but I am told they fit!!

Just get a decent primer and the paint will stick fine. B&Q sell a primer that can be used on Galv etc.
