#1 Dash 12v-10v power supply

Hi
Can someone please identify which is the 12 volt side of the 12v- 10v Dash transformer.
There is a marking "top" on the unit with and "arrow above one terminal, and a letter "B" and a arrow above the second terminal.
One would think that the letter "B is the 10v side is this correct.

I forgot to say it is in a series one E Type 1967

Figure No. 49 of the factory manual shows 12 volts going into Terminal B. This will be a solid green wire coming from Fuse No. 7, which is switched by the ignition. The regulated voltage comes from Terminal I and Terminal E is ground. The Haynes manual shows a similar arrangement, but without actually having a car in front of me, I have to trust the documentation at hand. Hope this helps!
