Don't know anything about the car but at ?42,500 it looks pretty good value.

Latest price guide from Classic Cars shows for a S1 4.2 FHC the following:

Dealer/Concours ?67500
Condition 1 ?55000
Condition 2 ?35000
Condition 3 ?24000

A lot of money for a slightly shabby looking S1.5 which has lain unused for many many years .
