#1 L & R markings on torsion bars

Post by PaulColeman » Fri Dec 27, 2013 7:16 pm

I was under the impression that the torsion bars are handed and have L & R stamped on the ends of the bars. I'm in the process of stripping the suspension down and I've cleaned the torsion bars up a bit but I can't see an L or R on the end. Do all of them have the L & R?

Thanks, Paul.

Okay, I'll get the wire brush out and put my glasses on this time...

They are definitely sided Paul but my markings were not very clear so keep cleaning till you find one of them

Not perhaps very helpful but I centre popped then do mine when I took the off to record which was left and right . There are markings on mine but they were not clear at all.
