#1 HT leads

Hello - I am renewing the leads and plug caps on my early (June 1962) Series 1 3.8 FHC. My leads route through 5 fibre washers rather than the later plastic tube. When I took it apart, they were in the order 1 thick, 3 thin, 1 thick. The workshop manual intimates it should be 2 thick nearest the conduit followed by 3 thin equally spaced. Does anyone know for sure? Regards, Peter
