#1 Interior trim 3.8 FHC 1964

I am considering refurbishing the worn interior trim of my recently purchased S1 3.8.
It's a late 3.8, from September 1964. It has therfore some S1 4.2 features such as the vinyle dashboard and centre armrest box.
I am wondering if I could fit one of these aluminium kits sold on ebay uk. I have seen previous posts on the subject but witout feedback on the possibility to successfully mount the various parts without problems (e.g. adjustment of the instruments within holes) and on the quality (aspect of the surface, finish of the edges, etc.) of the proposed items.
I must say that I am not interested to keep all of the original features such as the vinyle dashboard and consoles, I'm more interested in the nice looking of the alu pieces.
Anybody purchased an alu kit from David Manners?
Also any comment on the interior trim pieces proposed by Aldridge or is there any other good quality provider?
Cheers,
Serge
