Hi
On my 3.8 fuel is coming out of the overflow pipe from the centre carburettor. I have fitted the float chamber lid from the front carburettor to the centre one with no result. May I suggest that the problem is not caused by the needle ?
Carbs had a complete rebuild and car has covered less than 1000 Km since.
Any help welcome.
Regards, Dirk

Has the float got a puncture ? The best way to check this is to lift it out and shake it - any noise from inside indicates that fuel is inside, and this will cause it to be lower than it should be

I took the float out and yes, could hear the fuel inside.
Should I order one or is it better to change the other 2 also ?
What can you do when this occurs on a trip ? Engine cyl n? 3 and 4 are not working and fuel tank will be empty in a short time when trying to get at home by driving the car !
Thanks Christopher
