#1 Header tank level

Post by peters3103 » Tue Aug 26, 2014 3:26 am

My header tank purges to a level just above the "plate" inside, approx 1" below full. Is this ok? I know some people fit a recovery system but I don't think a 4lb recovery cap is available.

Pete, fill it to the top, get it hot and let it find the correct level by burping out what it doesnt want. If it doesnt overheat, all is well. (Do 5his in the privacy of your own drive as you will get loads of people telling you you have a leak!).
