Does anybody have any tips re changing the bulbs on an S1. I have fitted the halogen conversion with the H4 bulbs(?) some time ago and they dip beams have been fine until now when my dipped headlamps have failed. The fuse for dip seemed OK but I have replaced it anyway and I've traced the wiring down to the multi plug and power is all present and correct for side (working OK), dip and main (working OK) lamps. No 3 pin on the female connnector seems as though it may have been burnt very slightly which may have been the result of going through deepish water having been caught out in an unexpected torrentil downpour. Seems to me that both bulbs may have blown though if that is the case I don't why the fuse didn't blow.
When doing the conversion originally I found it a very fiddly job so if anyone out there has any favoured method which might be an improvement on my own novice like efforts please post them.
