Breather pipe adapter, on air box base. Say what?

The breather pipe on my car has been a chunk of heater hose secured to the frame with a couple of cable ties and going nowhere. J30 informs me that there should be about 14 parts involved, terminating in C19003, "adapter, on air box base." I can find only one line drawing of this part online, and no photographs. I have no idea what it is supposed to attach to, or where. Would any of the fine patrons of this site have a photo or two they might share?

Attaches (16) to the airbox (11) with a gasket (17) and two nuts. The airbox was changed after the first 500 cars which had previously used a silver corrugated tube breathing to the road like the XK150. This is from the J37 SPC which explains it:



If you don't have the hole/lugs in the airbox it is from an early car.
