Hi some help please

Basic questions
My heater is dead shot and rotten
I have secured a second hand one but this has a flap inside which is pretty bad condition
My original didn't have a flap at all assume it's just rotted away

Can I purchase just the flap and rod that operates it as the rest has been blasted and is in good order
